Low Voltage Project Manager

Summary: 

This position requires an individual that has experience in TEAM building with owners/vendors/Subcontractors/General Contractors.

Job Duties:

Preparation of comprehensive labor and material estimates for the Data & Systems Group.

  • Coordination with electrical and systems estimating teams.

  • Work in conjunction with preconstruction sales teams.

  • Coordination with material Manufacturers and Representatives.

  • Management/control of bid documents.

  • Maintenance/Tracking of Estimate Log.

  • Oversee, direct, and be able to project systems projects from start to finish.

Typical systems are; Paging, Intercom, Security, CATV, Access Control, CCTV, Local Area Network, Wireless, Audio/Visual, Dynamic Displays, Telephone, and Fiber.

  • Structured Cabling planning and implementation

  • Network planning and implementation

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Assistant Project Manager

Low Voltage Project Manager (DATA & SYSTEMS)

We have an immediate need for a Director of Field Logistics at our Fullerton, California location. The ideal candidate will have electrical contracting experience. They must be smart, a leader, and capable of finding and implementing solutions. 

​

Applicant must have a hands-on attitude with experience in the operations of a warehouse facility. The Director of Field Logistics is responsible for setting up and maintaining warehouse operations on the job site; working with logistics, warehousing, inventory control, vehicle loading and unloading, and ensuring company assets are protected and distributed safely.

 

Job Duties:

  • Setting up and maintaining the warehouse on the job will be the primary role.  Identify ways to improve the jobsite warehouse as the job progresses.

  • Support the construction teams with packaging efforts on-site.  

  • Coordination with custom fabrication vendors and suppliers as needed

  • Coordination of information flow between field office, and in-house prefab.

  • Prefab/Assembly - monitor labor, means and methods, continue to evaluate processes to ensure labor and material cost are being effectively managed.

  • In charge of the on-site warehouse logistics: inventory control, deliveries, organization, safety, and protection.

  • Dealing with the job costs and credits for the material sent back to and from the job.

  • Coordinating with purchasing and Fullerton warehouse

  • Tools/Temporary Power. Tools - Coordinating tool needs on the job, control tool inventory to minimize unnecessary tool purchases, repair tools.

  • Continually evaluate what needs to happen to get the job done, while at the same time initiate ways to save labor

  • Maintain folders and standard operating procedures for Tools, Prefab, and On-Site warehouses.

  • Hiring and training warehousemen working with the Director of Warehouse Logistics

  • Managing on-site warehouse personnel

  • Responsible for any/all other duties as determined by the company

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • 3 years of Supply Chain Management experience recommended.

  • 3 years of Warehouse experience required.

  • 3 years electrical contracting field management recommended.

  • Strong leadership and coordination abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

  • Knowledge of safety requirements for the warehouse.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Must have experience in tracking, shipping, expediting and ordering inventory.

  • Excellent human relations, oral and written communication, time management, and problem resolution skills are a must.
